What We Believe*

 

WE ARE A PEOPLE WHO:

 

… believe the Holy Bible as the divinely inspired, infallible, inerrant Word of God.

 

… accept and practice its teachings rightly divided, the New Testament as our rule of faith and practice,           government and life discipline.

 

… pledge to walk in the scriptural and spiritual light of God to the best of our knowledge and ability.

 

… believe in the triune Godhead:  God the Father, God the Son and God the Holy Ghost.

 

… believe in the virgin birth and sinless life of Jesus Christ and in the physical miracles He performed.

 

…believe in the death of Christ on the cross and the Resurrection through which all men have access to salvation and healing.

 

…believe in upholding the standards of holy conduct as prescribed in the Bible.

 

…believe in Pre-Tribulation: The scriptures boldly proclaim the Rapture of the body of Christ worldwide will take place before the seven year tribulation period begins.

 

…believe in Christ’s ascension to heaven and HIS return in power and glory in His which is the 2nd Advent.

 

… believe that Jesus is the Head of the Church which is His Body.

 

… believe in the spiritual “New Birth” of a converted Christian being born again.

 

… believe in Sanctification as a second definite work of grace and growing in grace.

 

… believe in the Baptism of the Holy Spirit with the evidence of speaking in tongues as the Spirit gives utterance.  (However one does NOT have to speak in tongues to be saved).

 

… believe that there is one Body and that all true believers around the world are part of that Body, which is the Body of Christ Jesus who will return and rapture the saints in the air.
